I am a 57 year old professional who has been working with Billy on and off for over 20 years, the last 8 at ANABO. My initial return to the gym was to “prehab” for upcoming hip replacement surgery. The workouts were tailored to improve conditioning and build endurance so that recovery would be faster. The program was successful and I was able to get back to work and activities sooner than expected. After the procedure we continued to work on building strength so that I could return to better than baseline.
We have continued to work on a routine basis since then. My workouts help me stay fit, thin and active. They are very structured and allow me to challenge myself to complete them while increasing my fitness level. They are great at stress relief.
More recently about 2 years ago I had a bicycle accident that resulted in fractures of my wrist and elbow (opposite arms). As soon as I was able, Billy revised the program to get me back to full steam as quickly as possible.
In the past year the program has incorporated more lifestyle and diet modifications. I have been able to lose weight and have completely eliminated diet soda and most dairy products from my diet. The changes definitely make me feel better and create a sense of accomplishment. Although I am too old to be an athlete I certainly wish I had a fitness program like this at a much younger age. Perhaps I could have been.
